  Elwood Trade Services quoted on the job of repairing significant damage from previous tenants and painting. They did a fantastic job all within the estimated time-frame and it was so easy dealing with Gavin and Deb - they kept us up to date with their tradesmen, products and completion. Their tradesmen provided quality work and it was very comforting to know that they handled the whole project with a minimum of fuss returning us with a beautiful home.   2 jobs carried out. 1. clean out roof gutter as gutter overflowing. Done efficiently and for reasonable cost based on hourly rate. 2. gutter cleaner told me water coming from roof solar panel and needed plumber to investigate. Elwood sent a plumber who arrived very quickly and confirmed the problem. I assumed same terms would apply and be charged on daywork basis. He was there 30 minutes and I was charged $85 call out plus $100 labour plus GST amounting to $205 for a 30 minute inspection with no actual repair work carried out. Elwood then advised me the plumber was subcontracted to them and just passed his charges on. It would have been better to have been advised this fact before hand. The lady at Elwood was very apologetic and no complaints with her,
