Ever since I was about 6 years old, I dreamed of being a florist and styling homes.  I've always had a passion for colour, texture and architecture.

A customer may ask, where do start - I am renovating my home. I always commence with the kitchen, it's the heart and hub of the home.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Be clear about your scope of work required in order to same time at initial consultation. Start a scrap book of ideas that you like. If possible ensure that you have narrowed down choices of samples/done some research about your likes.

I am happy to provide the first half hour complimentary. OR If a client would like me to accompany them shopping for their home, I am happy to provide the first hour complimentary. OR I will pass on discounts from selected Paint Shops/Furniture Stores

What makes your pricing competitive?

Most other interior decorators charge a minimal initial consultation fee of around $150 which is around one hour only.  I provide two hours for $160.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I usually charge a flat hourly rate of $80.00 per hour for the Illawarra region (additional travelling fees apply for out-of-area). An initial consultation may vary in time depending on the scope of work, however the minimum is 2 hours ($160) which is very comparatively affordable.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I specialise in styling homes.  This includes property styling for selling homes at a maximum profit. I have extensive experience in paint selection for interior and exterior residential/commercial applications. I can make faux floral arrangements to suit any interior.

Diploma of Interior Decorating  Consulted for over ten years to Marksman Homes, one of the Illawarra's premium builders; decorated eleven display homes. Recommended Colour Consultant for Crockers Paint and Wallpaper for ten years consulting in the Illawarra and Sydney Regions.
