Job Description: Hi there - I currently have a glass sliding door on one part of my house, and have very noisy neighbors. Unfortunately, as I've recently purchased it, I do not have the funds to replace it with a new double glazed system, and also do not feel that would be an optimal solution. There is currently approximately 83MM of space on the outside of it, which from what I can tell could easily fit a secondary sliding door system. As I have been told that should I replace my doors with a double glazed system, there would be no real way to re-sell the doors currently in my house, I am looking for someone to possibly install doors that will fit this space as a secondary system that they may have removed from another customer, or that in some way or another are likely to go to waste. In this case, it would benefit both me and the installer. Let me know if this is something you are able to look into, and if so, what sort of cost I'd be looking at. I'm available almost anytime, work from home, and am located in Nollamara. As long as the system is air tight (like a normal sliding system) and fits to create a secondary barrier, I feel it will be extremely effective at blocking out sound. I am also fine with a used system of any color, as long as there is no damage to the glass. It does not need to be lockable (but fine if it is), does not need a screen door (as I already have one on the system in place). The house is double brick. Dimensions of space on outside of current door: 217CM (W) x 213CM (H) x 8.3CM (D). Currently there is one sliding door and one locked door, both glass. Thanks! Rob.
