Location: Canning Vale, WAJob Description: I have a power box connected to a submersible pump. I turned the switch on to water and the pump did not activate. After inspection I found the bottom negative connection from the switch to the reset has snapped or corroded. It will require another switch to be connected. I have not tested the reset switch, but I tested the capacitor for resistance, and it is accepting a charge. About 3 years ago the capacitor failed and was replaced. The job will require replacement of the on / off switch and the negative connector. I would also like all connections and wires to be inspected and tested and replaced if required. I would also like a smoke detector connected. It was replaced previously but failed and was repaired by the manufacturer. If you do not have the time to install, this is okay. The bore pump is the priority given the current weather conditions.
