We pride ourselves on providing good old fashioned service for a reasonable price. You will receive, friendly, prompt, service, plus we offer absolute quality work and we clean up after ourselves.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

What is the job you require. (electrical, air con, etc). What size area is the air con going in. (to determine the correct size). What area you live in. (if you live NOR, it will cost more, as in travelling costs) The more detail you can provide us, the more accurate we can be when quoting)

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Ensure we have an unobstructed work area, move any objects in the way (if you can), so we can get straight to work.  2. Do not distract the workers with idle chit chat, we do charge for every hour we are there.  3. Anything you can do yourself before we arrive, will save us time and you money.

We have a fantastic offer on Haier air con units at the moment. We limited in numbers, so while stocks last, we can offer a 2.5 kW reverse cycle, split system unit for $1080 supplied and installed. T&C's apply, bigger sizes are on sale too. Please call the office for more info.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We do not charge a call out fee and then an hourly rate on top of that, Our call out fee is absorbed in the first hour we are on the job. We also save you money when needing 2 electricians on the job, by reducing our hourly rate by $20.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

We charge by the hour, with our call out fee absorbed in the first hour we are on the job. Our hourly rate then reduces for each hour thereafter. For 2 electricians we charge the same hourly rate from the first hour we are there and for each hour after that.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in supply and fitting of reverse cycle split system air con units, as well as supply and installations of LED lighting. We also specialise in pool pump installations.

All of the electricians at DE are fully trained, qualified & registered according to Australian electrical standards. All tradesman have done their apprenticeship through DE, so they are all taught the same technique and values, to be the best electricians in the business.
