I chose Built By Thomas for our concrete pool resurfacing primarily because Thomas showed great communication skills from the outset in understanding my requirements, explaining what could be done, discussing options and costs, and setting out a project plan and budget that were easy to understand. He also provided great service throughout, such as offering to bring me surface and tile samples, to save me the trip to suppliers. Throughout the project, Thomas provided overall management and kept me informed of what was happening. Matters were discussed and my questions answered fully and in terms I could understand. Thomas raised with me a couple of unexpected issues and proposed solutions which kept me confident I was in good hands. One stage (removing the existing surface) took longer than initially expected and an additional step was required to remedy a problem only brought to light during the project (some rust marks under the existing surface that would eventually show through if not fixed). There was no question of cutting corners to meet imposed deadlines - a high quality finish was always the key objective. The team working with Thomas were polite, friendly and professional. They also gave me confidence that the project was being done to a high standard. They were able to meet the unexpected challenges and still achieve the deadline. There was care shown throughout for the standard of work and for the house and occupants, including our dog. The site was cleaned afterwards and all waste removed. Invoicing was prompt and simple. I am fully satisfied and would have no hesitation in recommending Built by Thomas for a similar project.
