Will I go to jail if I dont lodge my Income Tax Return. Well in most cases NO you won't, however the ATO can impose heavy fines and penalties, if you late lodging your ITR, and also not being honest. It is always better to engage a registered tax agents to act for you when dealing with the ATO.
