  We hired Travis to sand and refinish the floor in our guest room for a flat fee. Travis was able to fit us into his schedule quickly, he is a good communicator, and easy to work with. However, the finish on the floor was uneven, with glossy spots near the wall and flat spots in the middle. When we asked Travis to put on another coat, he said that his fee only included one coat of polyurethane; whereas we assumed the quote was for refinishing the floor to an acceptable standard of high quality. We compromised on the additional fee and we are very happy with the final results - the floor is evenly glossy all over and looks stunning. I would recommend using Southern Cross Floor Sanding, but be sure to nut out the details about exactly what the quote includes so there are no misunderstandings.
