• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  I've worked with children my entire life - as a nanny, a playgroup teacher, a party entertainer, and photography has always been a hobby of mine. Only after a while did the two mesh together when I started doing childrens portraiture. That progressed to family, maternity, newborns and birthdays, all the way to weddings, engagements, product and fashion photography.

  The main question for clients looking for a photographer is if they can see a sample portfolio - this means the client can see previous work to ensure a consistent level of quality and professionalism, and to be able to see the variety of experience the photographer has. Other questions would involve qualifications and permits that the photographer requires - Working with Childrens Check, ABN and some sort of educational degree, diploma or certificate in the relevant field.
