He started in Landscaping and Horticulture but was eager to become more involved in the building industry. He went on to complete a plastering apprenticeship and then followed it with a carpentry apprenticeship to widen his trade experience. In 2012 Casey received his diploma in Building. Casey previously owned a large construction company dealing with insurance work. He sold the company in 2016 so he could leave Australia and travel the world with his partner, and now wife. Returning to Australia to start a family, Casey built their first home "La Casa Black" in Bangalow. You can follow their building adventures via @lacasa.black
