My name is Melissa Sotheran. I am a wife and a mother. I started out my administration and accounting career back in 2000. Since then I have worked for many different companies and seen their different approaches to tasks in these fields in each workplace. I have a passion for administration and accounting. I like to see organisation in every business I have worked for and have always created my own way of making everything run smoothly and organised. Why spend time looking for a lost file or statement when that time could be spent on other more important things. I was on maternity leave for a year, and within that time I was thinking of how much I missed my work, but also how I once had a dream of running my own business. I decided to become a Virtual Assistant so that I could help other business owners with tasks that are mundane and allow them to focus on predominant business functions instead.
