Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We are fully insured. All our work is guaranteed as per law requirements. Also many of our services and inclusions carry longer warranty periods up to 7 years. Also we have a 6 month defect call back where any issues are remedied quickly for maximum enjoyment of your new home.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always been on job sites since I could walk, I swapped a dummy for a hammer and the rest is history. I love creating new and interesting designs and building architecturally designed homes that push the boundaries and innovate others.

1. How long have you been building homes and can you provide testimonials that verify an excellent reputation in the community for integrity, workmanship and quality service? 2. Are you licensed by the relevant State authorities and an admitted member of the Master Builders Association? Can we please see your licenses? 3. Are you up to date with the latest legislation and building systems and what is your experience with sustainable building and the specific type of construction we require? 4. What type of contracts do you use and are they a fixed price contract? Ask: Does the contract document clearly what is and what is NOT included? Does the contract allow cost escalation? Does the contract have provisional sum allowances? 5. What is your defects audit process and what quality control measures do you have in place? 6. What warranties are provided on products and how long are these warranties for? 7. Can you provide a great building experience that will take the stress out of the process for us? Do you have a customer service process for before, during and after construction?  8. What insurances do you carry and to what level? Can you provide Currency certificates for each policy?

Q. What is your $ per M2 rate A. There is no $perM2 rate simply becuase there are to may variables, some homes are $12,00m2 while others are well over $2,500m2.Be wary of any builder who does quote m2 rates.

We have been in business for over a decade, all our trades have been with us for just as long, we all work as a team, this is very important to continuity of the project. We have dozens of testimonials and adding more all the time.

What they are looking for, style, level of finishes and inclusions, the land position/situation. The clients wants and needs. Last but not least a budget. So many people keep this a guarded secret but that ends up costing money as without knowing a budget we can't be sure just how much of their 'dream' we can make a reality.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Talk to a builder right from the start, they are the ones who can save you 10's of 10000's in a project, not an architect or other type of person. 2. Shortlist your wants and needs, priorities them and be prepared to negotiate with yourself as to what you really want. 3. Talk to a builder early (first) - I know this is repeated but it really is that important to saving buckets of cash over a project. I really can't emphasize this enough. So many clients come to us late with full plans and it ends up costing them $5,000 for us to make changes to save them $25,000 - its throwing money away for no good reason. Hope that helps :-)

We work on Fixed Price Quotes so when you sign with us you can be sure that the project will be finished on that budget. We use Master Builder Standard contracts.

We focus mainly on med-high end residential homes and multi unit developments up to 5 levels. we are every green focused as we have learn't how to incorporate those technologies into our designs for annual cost savings and lower price point for construction.

3 generations in the building industry, and many awards including Master Builders best building over $2m in 2012. Have worked and can work with all types of building materials including lightweight eco materials, secondhand timbers, straw bale walls, clay everything. We are not just brick and mortar builders.
