Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We are an insured business and have a current standard insurance policy in effect covering personal and property damage. We do guarantee the goods and services provided in our work. The goods are covered by the manufacturers warranty and the services are covered for defects in workmanship occurring within 3 months of job completion. Also, for structural work, there is the standard 6 year period of cover for defective work.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Since I was of a young age my family has been in this line of business and so I was raised with doing property maintenance and renovation work and it has continued to grow to be a passion of mine ever since.

I really enjoy working with clients that have an investment property to renovate and when I can make them realise that the money they invest will actually achieve a better return being in the property than leaving the money in the bank.

Clients usually are keen to know the price to do a job and I usually provide an estimate and then a fixed price. 3. Clients usually want to know when the work can start and how long it will take and I usually provide a guide.

1. I always try to ensure that all issues are covered for any job so that the client knows exactly what to expect. 2. I regularly stay in touch with the client to discuss any decisions to be made and also to keep them up to date. 3. Whenever a deposit or progress payment is taken from a client they are issued with a receipt of payment.

1. The measurements and dimensions of the area to be worked on, e.g. size of the floor area to be covered, the dimensions for rooms in a house extension, etc.  2. The types of building materials to be used, e.g. timber versus concrete floor structure, brick versus fibro cement external wall, tile versus colourbond roofing, etc. 3. The types of finishes required, e.g. laminex versus polyurethane cupboards, laminex versus stone benchtop, carpet or tile or timber flooring, etc.

1. You have informed us of any issues or matters which are not visible which may impact how the work is done. 2. You invest the time to see in showrooms or magazines what you are after and that you show us or tell us.  3. Ensure you have clearly explained what you want to be done and that it is clearly listed in our quotation.

We accept payment by any of the following means. That is, either by cash, bank cheque or bank account direct deposit. Before starting we require a deposit and depending on the size of the job also progress payments before completion.

Our service covers any aspect of the home building and renovation industry. However, we like to specialise on major renovation works for apartments and homes and also the complete construction of homes and apartment buildings.

We have been in the home building and renovation industry for well over 20 years. During that time we have completed many projects ranging from smaller renovation jobs (such as kitchen and bathroom renovations) to larger construction jobs (such as new homes and new apartment buildings).
