  Caroline just blew me away with what she was able to give us for our little baby boy. We had newborn photos taken of him when he was a couple of weeks old, and I cried when I saw them! Our boy fussed so much during the session but Caroline was so calm and patient and was really caring that I did not feel any pressure - and I really didn't think we'd get one good shot but we got heaps! I'm so happy every time I look at my beautiful canvas on the wall and I can't wait to get more done as he grows! I'd definitely recommend her to everyone else! Thanks so much. x Rhonda.

  Right from my very first communication with Caroline I knew I had chosen the right person. Her manner was warm and friendly but professional. Her studio is very relaxing and exudes a lovely energy. I requested head shots for publicity, and being a mature age lady, I have become accustomed to the unwelcome lines that leave their mark over the years, so one doesn't expect too much. However, the way Caroline lit my face, and the creative ways she positioned me, produced extremely pleasing results. Whilst normally very fussy about my photos, I had no hesitation in choosing some fantastic shots. My face was suddenly given the glow of a more youthful person, and encouraged me to think that there's life in the old girl yet! Caroline excels in creative baby and children's portraits and I'm sure much much more, and I very happily write this testimonial for all to see, and be encouraged to be on the receiving end of her talents.   Caroline Flake Photography is a fully insured business so you are always safe in her home studio or out on location.

• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  I've owned a camera since I was 7 years of age. I had my own darkroom in the bathroom of my old house - I loved everything about photography. Taking the photos, developing the images, editing the images on the computer, putting them in to a scrapbook. However I initially entered the corporate world and stayed there for some time until I realised that I wanted and needed to follow my passion in photography. Over time I developed a greater appreciation as to how precious and valuable our individual and family images are; and I wanted to be a part of creating those keepsakes.
