  We called Paul out to our home to inspect a crack that appeared in the cieling. As new home owners we thought the worst. Paul Reassured me on the phone and came out that afternoon. He had a good look in the roof then spent another 20mins giving us tips and answering our question about other projects we are going to start around the house. Most things he explained how we can do things ourselves and highlighted whats the priority. He gave us so much helpful info, all for free.   PAUL POLLOCK AS A HOUSE BUILDER (“WHO WAS YOUR BUILDER?”) 1. Introduction My name is Anthony Goodwin and I am a retired professional Mechanical Engineer. I was previously a Senior Project Manager and the National Trainer for the Australian division of KBR, a multi-national engineering company. I also have international qualifications as a Quality Systems Auditor with auditing experience covering many large Australian companies. My wife and I were given a strong recommendation to use Paul Pollock by a trusted friend who has had more than forty homes built over thirty years by several builders. Paul built one home for him on the Gold Coast and he was unhesitating in recommending him. The home we had built by Paul is a single storey building of 270 square metres with rammed earth walls, timber floors, timber cladding on most of the external walls, Colorbond roof and four separate decks covering 150 square metres. We have 50000 litres of water storage and 2.3kW of solar collection. 2. Our opinion of Paul Pollock as a builder Paul Pollock is the best builder we have ever worked with and our home is of the highest quality. We still feel this way 8 years after the build was completed. Paul gets the details right before he finalises his quote. Once he has done that he holds to his price. He sets exacting standards for his tradesmen and those who now work with him are proven artisans. Over many years Paul has refined technical details to give the best result and that experience shows in our home. The finish draws admiration from all who see it. The statement in brackets beneath the title above was made by a lady as she entered our home for the first time. She and her husband subsequently engaged Paul to build not one but two homes. Paul has an after sales service and warranty unsurpassed in the industry: he has attended to all issues that have arisen (though there have not been many) without any hesitation and to our complete satisfaction. He continues to do so to this day. Paul is a happy man with a good sense of humour. We now regard him as a friend. I endorse Paul Pollock without hesitation as a house builder on the Gold Coast.   Paul Pollock at Blue Lagoon Constructions has built 2 houses for us, both on-time and to budget, and both high-quality dwellings. His input at the design stage was invaluable - good, practical ideas to improve the house layout for better living, as well as making construction easier and reducing costs. Paul is hands-on at site daily, keeping to schedule and handling any issues that arise during building. He has a good team of tradespeople. He does not look for variations to increase his earnings, rather tries to minimise costs to the owner by finding practical solutions and keeping the owner informed. Highly recommended!
