Yes, we are insured and guarantee our work for seven years minimum. We provide the best application of building works and recommend the most suitable construction detail for  a long lasting, easy to clean finished build.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have alway enjoyed making things with my hands and building. I love my job, even in my free time I find myself on the tools and designing furniture.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy seeing how renovations, extensions and enhancements can improve my customers lives.  Building should be completed with understanding of how the completed work will alter the space.  I particularly enjoy working with timber.

The most common question asked by a customer is "how much is this going to cost?"   The answer all depends on the your expectations, function, look and durability.  The difference in two quotes may not be for the same outcome.  It is always worth discussing this with your tradesperson so you can understand why prices may vary.

I am more than happy to chat with you so that you can understand more about myself.  If you are interested, I can arrange for you to speak with previous clients to discuss how they found me to be reliable and trustworthy.    I have a core of customers that I complete regular work (renovations and enhancements) for.  One particular customer I have renovated 6 apartments for, this is a testament to my high standard and value.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Accepted Answer

1. Choose your materials.  2. See a architect or draft person. 3. Invest in the correct product for your application. 4. Provide all information to the trades people. 5. Stick with your plan - Do not change your mind throughout the building work.  You can do this, however it often causes increased price and anxiety for clients.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I provide discounts to clients through my trade suppliers.  I have a huge range of building equipment which reduces hire costs that other trades people may include in their quotes.  I also don't have large over heads like some larger building groups.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

I use a Housing Industry Association (HIA) contract. If the scope of works is clearly worded and attached with drawing and documents such as engineers and scope of works I can provide a fixed price quote. With out this information a schedule of rate can be provided.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

As a builder and carpenter, my work is varied.  I am qualified and experienced with all of the following: Renovations, new homes, decks, bathrooms, Kitchens, Roofs, custom furniture, framing, garages, windows, sheds, stairs, fit outs, Doors, concreting, formwork, design.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I began my construction career as a carpenter and continued my studies at TAFE. I completed my builders licence and currently been working in the industry for a decade.  All aspects of carpentry and building.
