Location: Deer Park, VICJob Description: Make: Asko front loader, Model: W6021, Serial No. [Description contains phone number. Description will be revealed after quoting] 0965 Housemate put a small load on las night. I heard a breif screech sound like slipping belt. Checked - machine appeared to be running fine. This morning machine had not stopped. It's stuck on wash cycle. Switched off. Found PDF service manual online, accessed emergency drain and pump cover. Drained all water, cleaned 2 coins from pin trap, Used emergency door release, found 2 ballpoint biros in with clothes. One (push-button type) was broken in pieces. Could not find the small biro-spring, it may be between the drum and container or elsewhere in the system(?) Service manaual states "...If a load is out of balance, the washer will rotate a few seconds to redistribute the load then attempt to spin again..." Even without a load, this does not happen. It just stays stuck on wash cycle and won't progress to drain or spin, regardless of what the user dial is set to.Problem with washing machine: Machine won't spin | Type of washing machine: Front loader | When: As soon as possible - Washing Machine Repairs job
