Alex, ABCO proprietor, used a camera to locate the sewer pipe blockage as it couldn't be cleared by the jetblaster. I was informed that the sewer pipe was damaged and has to be replaced. Alex's assistant, Rah, did the prep work the following day, hand-digging a shallow trench and a manhole to a depth of more than a meter to locate the sewer pipe prior to machine excavation the following day. Rah did more manual digging after machine excavation to extract the damaged pipe and joint, to enable removal of the blockages manually, by reaching far into the pipes to remove the tree roots and solid material attached. Rah then replaced the pipe joint and pipe and put cement around the joint, assisted by Rich, the excavator. The ground was very compacted, so the hand-digging and damaged pipe extraction was hard work. All involved, including the excavator contractor ( 2 Dig for You), are very skilled, efficient and professional, working against the clock to finish the pipe-laying before the impending downpour. With three men working quickly and efficiently, the crucial part of the job was finished before the heavy rain started. Backfilling the nearly two-meter deep excavation was done in the rain. Alex, came to inspect the finished job, which was done to my satisfaction. Alex also replaced a leaking cistern. I recommend ABCO Plumbing Solutions and will use their services in future.
