  I hired Zest Interior design to buy furniture for my unit in Randwick. She insisted that she pays for the furniture and I reimburse her instead of me paying directly to the suppliers. When the job finished she fabricated an invoice to show a higher amount ($4,799) for the storage unit while in reality she only paid $4,361.02 as per the invoice that was provided to me by the furniture store. She refused to refund the overcharge or provide invoices for the other items that I paid for. She also quoted me an extra $200 for the dining table in addition to the retail price. As she has not provided invoices for the other items, I do not know how much she overcharged me. Based on this experience I cannot recommend Zest Interior design.

  Evangelos I am sorry you feel that way. I believe I have behaved professionally throughout the time you engaged my interior services. I offered to purchase the furniture for you and you agreed. Following my home furnishing selections you approved all of my home furnishing invoices, payed me and I purchased these items on your behalf. When you received your home furnishings you requested my wholesale invoices which is not a normal commercial request. I tried to discuss this over the phone but you wouldn’t accept my calls. I believe a chat over the phone would of easily resolved any invoice misunderstandings. It is standard practice for interior designers to add a mark up on wholesale prices. The client still acquires their purchase well below retail prices. I have no control over truck drivers or retailers who unprofessionally disclose there wholesale pricing. Anyone who has used my interior services know that I am honest and go above and beyond for my clients. Just to remind you I provided a kitchen quote for you and I accepted deliveries on your behalf, I did not charge you for these services.

  I engaged Debbie Palic to design my bathroom and laundry area for our family home. I am thrilled with her design as the small space now works well with plenty of storage, looks great and copes well with my families needs. I would highly recommend her as she is friendly and easy to work with.
