The food was brilliant, more than we had expected - it's a proper Christmas feast. Thank you so much for helping us celebrate our Christmas in July party!

How did you decide to get into your line of work?
It all started way back in 1993 when Justin and Lawrence, employees of a finger lickin' good fast food chain got sacked for being too innovative (the Colonel didn't like the idea of a 12th secret spice). Believing that the Sydney food scene was ready for something more exciting they headed off to the surf for a 'board meeting'. After a few waves the two decided to open a sandwich shop. With little experience, Justin and Lawrence decided to do only what they could - just offer the best sambos in Sydney. An old Butcher's shop in Meadowbank was converted into a trendy hang-out spot and 'That WICKED Sandwich Shop' was born- complete with basketball hoop and a wall mural featuring a 12 metre baguette (beat that Subway!). Originally the corporate catering was a sideline, just to pass the time until the rush of the lunch hour hit the shop - however with an ever increasing range of exciting options, the catering quickly became the main focus and remains so today some 21 years later.
