Well, customers have different views regarding the person they are hiring. But I guess they should look on their experiences and previous works, that way they may be able to see whether the person would be competitive to do the work.

1.) Have all the requirements ready. 2.) Must have a solid scope in mind so that they don't need to add new requirements during the course of development. It will be usually treated as an add-on. 3.) Must see all elements and functionalities included during the design stage.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I usually charge $6/hour for website content placement, $8/hour for website adminsitration, $11/hour for Mock-Up slicing and $20-30/hour on Programming. Very competitive rate. I also accept Fixed-Price jobs, 30 to 50% upfront and balance can be settled after completion.

I usually have direct clients who pays through paypal, but I also accept payments via Odesk or through Bank Transfer. But majority of my clients pay through Paypal.
