As licensed Electrical Contractors and Licensed Plumbing Practitioners, we have professional liability insurance (a condition of licensing requirements) we adhere to the regulations set out by Energy Safe Victoria and the Victorian Building Authority.

Starpower Electricians is a young company whose owners were proudly born and raised in the Latrobe Valley.  We are enthusiastic about providing cost effective clean energy solutions to the people of our community, with service that is friendly, honest and reliable. The way we get things done is superior, because we have a genuine passion for electro-technology, the environment and for problem solving with our customer’s needs, safety, security and budget in mind. We love that we can provide our customer's with genuine solutions to all of their electrical needs.  We are passionate about quality and care about providing a friendly service and building lasting relationships within the community where we live.  We love Gippsland, all of us were born & bred here and so, we wish to look after it's people with their Solar Solutions, Air-conditioning, and all of their domestic & commercial electrical needs.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

When you're trying to find the right person to do your work, particularly when it comes to Solar Power Installation you should ask:  Are you a qualified Electrician? - You should know that ONLY qualified Electricians who are licensed to carry out electrical work should be performing your solar install.  Do you use sub-contractors to do your Solar Installs? - Be aware that if the business owner is not themselves a Licensed Electrician, then they are sales people or rather, clever businessmen, who are using contractors to get their work done.  The problem with this is that they often just don't care enough about the quality of their work, cutting corners leaving you with a less than ideal system.  Unfortunately we've already attended to many repair jobs on poorly installed systems.   What warranties & guarantees do they offer? - For a most customers it becomes difficult to tell what's what when it comes to warranties.  Ask about Manufacturer’s Warranty: Many manufacturers will offer 10 years’ manufacturing warranty and an 80% output efficiency warranty at 25 years.

Importantly, we offer you complete peace of mind with our quality workmanship and certificates of safety & compliance for every job. Starpower Electricians are appropriately qualified, trained and licensed.

We need to know what your ideal outcome will be, and if you have a budget in mind.  We can work to your budget as best we are able to, but remember we can't preform miracles or turn water into wine with minimal funds.

Provide some Pictures. A picture says a thousand words.  Give us plenty of background information. ie: brands, size, distance, troubleshoots, descriptions of your house or job.

I can offer wholesale price rates on materials. This means you will save on things like electrical wire, safety devices and trade specific equipment that may not be available to the general public at wholesale rates.

We have pay on the day discounts and we keep our over heads to a minimum. We are environmentally conscious and community orientated.

How do you normally charge for your service?

For general electrical: Same day ‘do and pay’ service work ie: call us in the morning and your job is done that afternoon.  Our minimum service fee is $150 and we have a daily rate. All Quotes are firm and We will beat any other price given by a registered "Tradesperson" on equivalent work by 10%.  For Solar:  Finance Options are available/ or full payment the day prior to installation.

We specialise in Renewable energy/ Solar Power, a holistic approach to saving our customers with Solar Power and other energy savers.  We believe that Solar Power should be designed and installed only by Electricians, it's an Electrician's job.
