How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I always loved playing with camera's and creating something unique. It started as a child and I fell in love with Photography in school (in the dark room) As an adult I have evolved my talents and to this day I am always finding something new to love about Photography!

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Accepted Answer

I volunteered to do a family shoot for a family who's 10 year old daughter was battling brain cancer. Maddy was her name, I couldn't believe how brave she was and to be a small part in her life made me feel like anything was possible. I also volunteered my time for a fundraising event in her name.

What do you like most about your job?

I love making people happy. Corny? I know. These moments we share with one another are unique, no one person, family or group are the same.  The dynamic between people and their emotions really makes it worth it in the end!

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Honestly, ask them what they love about photography and how they started. Ask the Photographer what their 'quirks' or 'style' is!!  Also make sure you get printing rights and a back up of all your images in high quality!

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

"How long will it take" - On the day, that really depends on you. Generally a normal photoshoot can take 1-2 hours. Children, I try to keep short as well as pets. "What do i get?" - You will receive a personalized DVD disc to which you can print High Quality prints from (Canvas Quality)

I'm not a large corporate company, I am a person who is connecting with you in a very intimate way. Our business relationship is more like a friendship.  In your joyful moments, I am there to capture and share them with all of those you love.

I'm easy going, Bubbly, Creative, Love learning your story and I am always on time.  I see the world differently through my camera. I love the finer details.

Where it will be (Do i come to you or would you like to come to me?) Do you have a time limit on the day? How fast do you need your photos? (Can take up to 2 months to edit and release) Do you need a payment plan? Is there anything you'd like to try? (dare I mention Pintrest?)

Tip 1. Know what you want from the get go. Research photo styles and make sure you can tell me what you would like. Tip 2. Prop's aren't provided, so try to use what you have got around the house. Tip 3. Prints arent supplied, so look out for great deals online or at your local Harvey Norman!

I'm affordable and willing to do a payment plan.  I work around your needs, as some people can not afford extravagant sessions- I am more down to earth with my pricing.

Charging is based on a personal aspect and difficulty of the job - However - I have done and will still donate my time and services to special occasions. (please email if in need) Photography is a Human based industry, you must connect on a human level to capture something beautiful.

Close up's of items (example: Products, Jewelry, Flowers) Portraits - Simplistic and Timeless. A photograph is a time capsule- You will always cherish your memories. Scanning - I love turning your old photographs and film/slides into digital copies. To bring back life to the finer details.
