Yes I am fully insured and will always ask the customer if they are happy with the job before I leave. If there is any concerns I will address them before payment.

How long should they leave it before getting them done again. The answer usually depends on the location and whether they have children or pets, but generally 2 to 3 times per year is standard.

Customers prefer me to do the job because as an owner operator I like to make sure the customer is happy, and I'm on hand to ensure that happens. I have had many years of experience and I find these days customers are looking for a more complete job and I am fully equipped for that as far as the right equipment goes and my experience.

How many actual panels of glass in the job, rather than groups of windows. How long since it's been cleaned. Are you considering a deluxe clean (tracks and screens and mirrors as well) or a basic clean - windows only?

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

If you are concerned about the price, you may save money by hosing the screens the day before I come to clean the windows. Another possible saving is to vacuum the tracks as quite often the tracks take just as long as cleaning the windows. But if you want to relax then leave it to me!

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

I offer ten percent off the following clean if they refer me to another customer who hires me, and I really like to look after my older customers too. I usually like to clean something extra, like a mirror or something they didn't ask for.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Accepted Answer

Not having to pay for advertising (except this site), as most of my work comes from word of mouth. I also don't have overheads like staff, an office or anything like that.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Cash or direct internet transfer, but a cheque is ok unless it's a bond clean. I can email an invoice or write one up on the spot.

Many customers have been let down by companies who send guys out who just clean the window and not the frames, tracks or screens. These days people expect more and that's what I provide- the level of detail that each individual customer wants.

I have been cleaning windows for nearly 20 years and in this time have covered the full spectrum of tasks and had a wide range of customer interaction. From shopfronts to abseil work, domestic and industrial window cleaning, now I am concentrating on keeping my domestic customers satisfied.
