How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I decided to get into Personal Training following my own success at becoming the fittest and healthiest I've ever been. I worked hard on my nutrition and exercise, but it was worthwhile, and life changing.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy the variety of clients. I am always interested in the journey that people go on, and continue to travel. People, and being able to help them, are the reason I do my job.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

If the client wants someone to train them who has had their own long, but successful journey back to good health, then I am the trainer for them. If they want a trainer who will come to them, I am also the one for them!

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

I need to know about the customer's current health. If they suffer from injuries or any other medical conditions. This can be discussed at the first meeting.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

I charge based on time. The sessions are $50 for 1 person for a 45 minute session, as a mobile client, or $35 for a studio session. I will do 2 on 1 training as well, mobile is $70, and studio training is $55. All sessions are 45 minutes.

I specialise in helping those starting out on their health and fitness journey.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I hold a Cert IV in Fitness from the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers. I also have a current First Aid Certificate from St John's Ambulance. I am constantly looking to learn new things to make me the best Trainer I can be.
