There are significant amounts of variables that are difficult to quantify and provide uncertainty in many professions. In accounting, numbers offer a relatively straight forward and clear structure to work within. The simplicity of accounting allows hard work to yield more certain results, which can be reassuring and consistent as a day job to then pursue other ventures and interests off of.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

There was a client whom was in little financial stress. When she contacted us to get her tax done, she was needing to have it done on the day so that she could have her tax refunds back to pay long overdue bills. We thankfully were able to visit the client at their home as leaving her children to have tax done was difficult. She was extremely lovely and friendly to deal with, and it was nice to know that a small effort on our part was able to significantly ease some challenges she faced with scheduling having work and children to care for.

- Try to organise your records. The more organised you are, the less time we spend on the job, the more you will save - Good accounting keeping by using recommended accounting software i.e., Xero, MYOB etc - Have your business accounts prepared by a qualified bookkeeper.
