I loved commerce at school and got into it from there have never looked back. Always challenging and learning new changes to laws and statutory obligations.

A customer of mine is a very good tradesperson but not good at maths and English. I sat down with him and told him that it was okay to have a business that I would explain the business to him and I would do his bookwork for him. He is so happy he only worries about his customers. So it doesn't matter who you are a can do attitude is all you need to succeed.

Meeting a variety of people and helping them to succeed makes me feel good and the challenges along the way. Seeing the end result for the year.is very rewarding.

Explain what is you really need to be done and how long for. Get a clear understanding of what they offer and how much they charge. Time frame for work to be completed.

Do you do the whole lot customers/payables and payments and payroll as we don't have time to do it and it gets to difficult to work out as we are busy and don't get enough time to do it. I take on all of your accounts and do your bas to trial balance stage at the end of the financial year so you don't have the worry and stress of it.

Analysis of overheads and what is being paid out by the client is a good start to saving money and making your dollar go further. Having a good business plan and financial plan to work to helps your business to succeed.

I normally charge by the hour but have monthly agreed payments as well. I also charge one off payments for financial advice and set up of businesses.  I accept direct debit, cash and credit card payments.

I have worked in a few industries especially the construction industry as well as service and hospitality. I am fully conversant with a number of accounting software packages including MYOB, QuickBooks.

I have worked as a financial controller for 4 states and finance and administration manager for the past 30 years. I also have a degree other certificates to keep up with industry over the year. I am constantly keeping up to date on the changes to the law and taxation and superannuation laws.
