Yes, we hold the highest level of professional indemnity insurance a conveyancer can obtain in New South Wales.  Although we have never had a claim put against us, if one does come about, rest assured we are fully covered.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My father was a builder and growing up, i used to go with him to the solicitor and was always impressed by the way the property solicitor spoke and the knowledge he had regarding land and council zoning and what could be done on the property, different titles.  I knew property was for me.

Helping people purchase their dream home, the look on our clients faces once they know that settlement has proceeded and the property is theirs, is priceless.

1- Is there a limit in the amount of phone calls or emails a conveyancer will respond to before charging extra?   2- Ask what property enquiries should be undertaken 3- Are they able to answer your queries throughout the transaction 4- How much experience does the conveyancer have? 5- Are they licenced and insured - this can be checked on the Department of Fair Trading Website.

What is the relevance of obtaining pre-inspections?  The rule here is you purchase a property in its current condition and state of repair.  The only way to determine this accurately is to obtain a pest and building report.  That way, you are 100% advised as to its condition.

Find a conveyancer that is happy to review the contract and negotiate the terms and conditions for you before you sign, free of charge;  Always have a budget it mind when buying a property and make sure you have pre-approval from a lender to ensure you know the maximum you can offer;

What makes your pricing competitive?

Being a home based office, our overheads aren't as high.  We offer fixed professional fees plus disbursements at cost meaning, if we are charged $25.34 to obtain a search, then that is what you will be charged.  In addition, we do not charge for copying, faxing, phone calls.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We offer a fixed professional fee plus Disbursements which are charged at cost.  All we ask is that you transfer an agreed sum into our trust account to cover out of pocket expenses.  At settlement, we will raise an invoice and collect the balance.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in a number of aspects of conveyancing, the one that stands out the most would be dealing with off the plan/house and land sale and purchases.  But, in saying that, we are highly skilled with residential and commercial sale and purchase.

Being a certified practising conveyancer and accredited by the Australian Institute of Conveyancers, this means that you must pass certain criteria and hold broader knowledge and understanding of the law that regulates conveyancers, we must also pass a risk assessment to prevent any possible claims.
