How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always been one of those personalities which enjoy being active at work and I always liked cleaning. Cleaning is a chore not many people enjoy, or have time for. It is my job to take the chores away.

What do you like most about your job?

I like being of service to others and especially enjoy handing back a property and hearing all about how impressed a client is upon returning home. I ensure my clients are welcomed home, knowing they don't need to spend their weekend catching up on chores.  I thrive on feedback so clients always feel comfortable communicating with me.

My years of training and perfecting my skills has been spent on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.  I have grown to know just what my client's need.... and want.  My customers have been with me for years, and we enjoy a mutually respectful and honourable business relationship.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

How many windows/doors there are on the premises How often the service will be required How high/dirty the glass is - All of these things are discussed upon site inspection and evaluated.  If the job is cleaning (not windows and glass), the things I need to know are how large the house is and how may people live in it. From there I come and meet with the client to discuss the job further and mutually agree on timeframes, product usage, schedules, cost, methods etc.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Each quote is assessed by viewing the premises and discussing the requirements with the client. A price is provided at that time. We do not give a price without viewing the job, ensuring the job expectations match the quote, there are no hidden surprises.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have 18 years cleaning experience (15 of those on the Hinterland); Business Diploma Qualifications in Management and Administration; as well as a Diploma in Legal Services.
