We are covered by Professional Indeminty Insurance, ie Law Cover, as well as Law Society of NSW limited liability scheme.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I used to worke as a legal secretary which I enjoyed my job a lot and have met a lot of associates. They all encouraged me to go for further study to advance myself. I have taken up their advice and completed Bachelor and Master degrees in Law and become a solicitor.

I have always try to build friendships with clients to make clients open up to me which in turn make my work easier as well. I have received shopping bags and chopping board made by my client in jail and aslo receive lettesr from other clients every now and then.

Very challenging. No matters are the same. It is very facinating to read different cases and absort the reasoning from judges.

Meet up with the solicitor to discuss issues face to face. Decide on hourly fee or fixed fee basis. Enter into the cost agreement, to get estimate cost.

We are happy to negociate with the professional fee we charge. We are fully aware that huge fee can cause a lot burden of the client financially.

We are not expensive compare to other firms. Low fare does not effect our performance and we do try our best to accommate clients' needs.

We usually charge hourly rate which is between 250-300 an hour. However, depending on the clients' need, we are happy to enagage in fixed fee basis services.

We are a general practise. We only take the matter on board when we are 100% confident that we can deal with the matter correctly and properly.

The principal solicitor has Bachelor degrees in Science as well as in Law. She also has Master degrees in Intellectual Property as well as in Law majoring in Commercial Litigation. She also runs a small business so she is very familiar with contracts, lease etc.
