Decided at the age of 17 that I would pursue electrical work, I’ve enjoyed my 12 years in the industry. I always though it would be an awesome skill to have and turns out its enjoyable work also.

I had a customer once who was shocked (excuse the pun) to offer her a coffee on my way to her address. She also was even more impressed with the miracle cable that we managed to get down a wall for her that a couple other sparkies couldn’t seem to do or weren’t bothered to do

Do they care about your safety? Numerous times I’ve attended homes where other trades have left the property in an unsafe manner. Whether that’s exposed cabling, incorrect installations or even hazardous materials such as asbestos that has been drilled into and been exposed to the customers belongings or worse the customer themselves

Is it possible to do this??  I’ve found in my short time of being an electrician that it’s sometimes better to say no and be transparent. If we don’t think we can we won’t.

Generally there’s an a call out fee to all customers depending on the address of the customer. This covers our time to travel and also pick up supplies.
