Customers can save money by thinking out very carefully any requirements they may have about there job. A great idea would be to properly sketch and dimension drawings of what they require.

We are a relatively small organisation, with low overheads. I try to operate as efficiently as possible. We definitely work on the premise of smarter not harder which seems to help bring costs down.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Generally speaking I charge relative to time, this may be laser cutting time, design time, cad drawing time, machining time or folding time. It does depend on the processes involved.

My facility has several machines, all of which are computer operated (cnc) controlled. This means thaT they are extremely accurate and consistent, whether it is an individual part or one of hundreds. This capability allows me to tackle an extremely wide range of jobs.
