I love capturing emotion - anything that makes you 'feel' something when you look at it.  My style of photography is candid allowing for lots of these moments.

Do you like the style that the photographer shoots in? Are they professional, reliable and trustworthy? Does what they are offering you suit your needs and if not, can you negotiate? Do they fit in your budget?

One big question that I often get asked is 'When do I get the images?'   For an average wedding, your photos will be ready and posted from 6-8 weeks.  I will keep you updated in the process and let you know once they have been posted.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

A few things I need to know are:  When is the wedding/event? Where are you located? Where would you like the photography to take place? How much coverage would you like? Reception, Ceremony, Preparation Etc? Do you need albums, prints done?

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

You can arrange to have your ceremony close to your reception in terms of both time and location.  This will allow for fewer hours needed and less time wasted in travel. The same con be done for the bridal preparation.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I seek to keep my costs at a minimum. I am a sole operator working from a home-based studio which allows me to provide reasonable, competitive pricing.

How do you normally charge for your service?

On booking, I take a 20% deposit (For weddings) and the rest is invoiced for a later time.  The Payment method is via bank transfer, deposit or cheque.    If the photography service is a Family session, engagement session or portrait, payment is received on the day or organised otherwise.

Spirel Photographic specialises in capturing your wedding's natural moments - my style is candid with a few posed images (portraits).

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have obtained a Diploma of Professional Photography (The Photography Institute) and am currently undergoing a Diploma of Graphic Design (CATC).
