Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have liability insurance. We guarantee that the services will be provided, even if there are circumstances out of our control & another photographer takes the place of the one originally allocated to that wedding day. Clients, will of course, be notified of any changes, if this was to occur.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My husband & I decided we wanted to build a business around our love of photography, that would be able to provide services for all budgets, even if we didn't have a written package to suit it. We want everyone to be able to preserve their beautiful memories. We provide that, with smiles & fun.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Childhood sweethearts at 16, life & fate took them on different paths & away from each other. Marriages to other people & the blessings of children, formed their middle years, but as life passed, love blossomed once more & after a 42-year love affair, we were privileged to attend their 2017 wedding.

What do you like most about your job?

I meet so many wonderful people, everyday. I am able to share in their special moments & re-live them again when editing. I love that I make them smile, after their big day, when they realise how much they love the images & that they'll be able to treasure and share them with future generations.

They should check their gallery and see if their style of photography, suits the client's personality. Then check their packages to see if they suit the budget. Lastly, always meet them or chat over the phone, to get to know them as people before they 'work' with them, on their special day.

Do we have payment plans? Yes we do, scheduled however your budget allows. Can the free engagement shoot instead be a family or boudoir or maternity shoot? Yes it can be swapped for any free shoot you wish.

We are a small, family owned business, so we know how important it is to keep our 'extended' family happy. The clients are those 'extended' family and we would go above and beyond to assist them in any way, to make their special day, absolutely perfect.

We have a wonderfully, friendly, professional manner, with smiles all round. Our packages are entirely flexible and we have payment plans for those who are on a strict budget. Our packages are structured as a basic outline, but they are just that, an outline. If you can dream it, we can create it!

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Typically, we'd need to know the date of the wedding, the location and if they have an idea of whether they want one photographer or two. Some sort of an idea of how many hours they will need and format the images are provided in, will also help determine the package quoted.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

If you are choosing a larger package, as they flexible, you can change the package & take out whatever you wish, including the free shoot. You can also choose to add on hours, at $50/hour, rather than choosing a higher package. If we're both available that day, you'll get 2 of us for the price of 1.

Each package from $900 includes a free engagement shoot. Packages are negotiable and can be created to suit any budget.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Our prices don't usually include any editing or travel time, so that we are able to keep them at their lowest, so that everyone is able to have the opportunity to make and photograph their beautiful memories. With any package from $900 we also have a free engagement shoot included in the packages.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We normally charge a 50% deposit for date security, but this can be negotiated according to what your budget requires. Usually it is through a bank transfer, with the details sent on an invoice. We have four packages, which are all flexible and adaptable, starting from $450 for 3 hours.
