We do have Public Liability or Worksafe cover  We are also certified with Energy Safe Victoria and the Plumbing Commission (this also covers gas works)

Customers should always question the credentials of any plumber, gas plumber or electrician that they hire.  Riddle Plumbing & Electrical are registered with both Energy Safe Victoria and The Plumbing Commission, are technicians can and will show these upon request

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Customers more often than not want a price on the phone to fix something they have described to us, in many cases it is possible to provide this to you - However in some cases the issue you are experiencing may have a deeper route cause and unfortunately in those cases we cannot provide an exact price on the phone as this will be misleading to you.  We do offer standard maintenance rates $80+GST for the first 30 mins on site - in more cases than not we can provide a diagnosis and quote upon attending site and then you can decide whether you wish to proceed with the works.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

We have two offers for the month of August;  Gas Heating Service - $176inc  As you know Melbourne goes hot and then cold all in one day – But when it’s cold it’s cold and we rely on our gas heating to get us through those cold days! With this in mind when was the last time you had you gas heating appliance inspected and serviced?  ‘Energy Safe Victoria’ and the ‘Plumbing Industry Commission’ stress that you service your gas heating appliances by a registered and licensed gasfitter every 2 years at a minimum to keep your system running safely and efficiently.  Our service includes a comprehensive 32 point maintenance and safety check on the systems components, including a full carbon monoxide test, to ensure your system is operating safely in your home by our registered and qualified gas team.  All customers who use are services in August will receive a $50 voucher off any further works they may require

How do you normally charge for your service?

Our standard maintenance rates our $80+gst for the first 30 minutes of work and then $80+gst for every subsequent hour.  Many of our services have a fixed price and please do not hesitate to contact us for further details - we have a dedicated office who will greet you and advise you of the next best steps to take.  We accept all major credit cards*, cash, cheque and bank transfer.  *Cards are subject to a 1.5% surcharge

We are trained, experienced and qualified specialists in the installation and maintenance of all plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling requirements.  We manage appliance installation through to appliance maintenance

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

All of our team our qualified with minimum of 5 years on hand experience in there trade, most of us have many more years than this in our portfolio of work.  We are registered with Energy Safe Victoria and the Plumbing Commission.
