  We are thrilled with the designer ornamental wall of shelving for our china, cut-glass, silverware and books, which Rick built into our living-room. He made the traditional arched tops in wood which have been painted white, and this turned a rather plain long room into an elegant classical one. Every morning I also feel gratitude to Rick for the stylish and practical cupboard, shelving and drying area that he built in our laundry. Rick is a talented and first-class cabinet-maker, who combines artistry with practicality. He can transform abstract ideas into beautiful reality. Nor does he take long to do this.   Rick's father was an architect and builder, and Rick grew up on-site. He spent his childhood making and fixing things with his hands and his love for woodwork began in high school carpentry class, where he was encouraged to pursue his talents.
