Yes my business is fully insured for both public liability and professional indemnity. I guarantee my work and always try to give the best solution and best service.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have been working for the some of the chemical manufacturing companies for some 18 years as a research biologist before I started doing pest and termite management.

Everything is confidential between me and my clients. Pest control gets very personal as you are let into peoples houses and have a snap shot window into their private lives. You meet great people.

I love the challange . . . every job is different  . . . you get to meet some great people. I love my independence and this job gives me both, it is very rewarding.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

The customer needs to be satisfied that the person has the right qualifications and experience to do the job. Basically they can ask any questions I am happy to answer them even if I don't get the job.

Of course first question is price . . .  and issues around warranty but the question is usually very specific to the job.  I may not be the cheapest but not the most expensive either!

I take customer service seriously. I have the experience and the passion to work out the best pest control solution and provide a first class job. I don't cut corners.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

For a customer pricing has to be right and I believe my prices are competitive and quality of work is of high standard.  I turn up on time and do the job to the best of my abilities.  I also look at the bigger picture issues on a property and advise customer if required.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

What exactly needs to be done, size of property, location (which will determine travelling time). Anything they feel should be mentioned will help, nothing worse than going out to a job and find it is twice as big as expected. Help me to help you keeping expenses down.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

If a customer has 2-3 different jobs to be done at the same time ie. general pest control, Visual Termite Inspection etc, usually there is a discount. If there is a genuine quote, (be prepared to prove it), usually they can get a better price or simply ask for a discount :-)  . . . you never know

I offer a 10% discount off the next job and all other ones  that if they stay with me as a client irrespective of the size of the job. I also offer 10% discount for pensioners. Don't be shy to remind me.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Quoting on the internet makes pricing very competitive, but don't fall into the trap of chasing the cheapest price. The quality of the service has to be there as well. When people  find a good pest control company, they usually stick with it.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Charges are usually based on the size of the job for general pest control and the complexity and size of the job for termite work. If I can do two jobs on the same property there are great discounts.

I am full service provider which includes general pest control both residential and commercial, all aspects of termite management from inspection, detection, treatment to prevention through chemical termite barriers.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have the required qualification and license to carry out general pest control and timber pest incl. termite work. I am an accredited installer of a number of products including Termidor, Biflex and HomeGuard.
