As a professional service provider BCA will undertake to remedy (at our cost) any omissions or errors that can be attributed to our sole failure to undertake our services to the expected industry Standards.  BCA carry professional indemnity insurance to the value of $10 million and public liability insurance to the value of $20 million.

When engaging a service professional (SP) suitable answers to the following questions should provide some level of comfort that you will receive the appropriate level of professionalism. #1  Is the SP registered with the WA Building Commission as a Building Contractor? #2  Does the SP carry the appropriate levels of insurance cover for the project? #3  Is the SP a member of a relevant industry association and does the type of membership obligate the member to profession standards of conduct? #4  Will the SP provide timely responses and work to specified deadlines? #5  Does the SP employ unqualified or inexperienced staff and / or contractors? #6  Which individual in the organisation will be be assessing my project, and (a)  Is the individual obligated to undertake continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain their skills base? (b)  Is the individual registered with the WA Building Commission as a Building Practitioner and, if not,  does the individual possess the appropriate skills, experience and qualifications to undertake the project?

As an accredited member of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS), BCA is bound by a code of conduct which clearly defines the ethical standards of conduct and professionalism. BCA are registered with the WA Building Commission as building practitioners and Level 1 building contractors.

As a nationally accredited member of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS) clients can be assured that codes of professional conduct and skill levels are maintained. BCA has no employees and does not engage contractors. Clients can therefore be assured that their project will be fully reviewed and processed by a skilled professional  BCA endeavour to provide a quality service in a timely manner.

The services that BCA offer are relatively diverse.  In all cases general contact details will be required, however,  the nature of any preliminary information will depend upon the type of service being sought. To enable an accurate quotation please provide as much relevant information as possible, incl. any incidental approvals, notices and/or formal correspondence. We encourage clients to contact us by telephone or to visit our office to discuss their project specific needs.

All our services are predicated by time. We can improve the competitiveness of our quotations by offering the following tips to reduce the amount of processing time. 1.  Provide accurate, concise and well presented documentation. 2.  Be prepared to engage other industry practitioners to provide specific information. 3.  Finalise the design and resist any change.

Our pricing is founded upon quality and value of service delivery.  Sure, you might find a cheaper price elsewhere but be cautious of extraordinarily low quotations and companies that may employ unqualified or inexperienced staff .You are encouraged to ask questions of your service provider.  BCA  pride ourselves in delivering a quality service founded upon professional codes of ethics, experience, qualifications, and our commitment to delivering professional outcomes in a timely manner.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Clients are encouraged to forward plans and details or visit our office to discuss their project specific needs. Our charge for service depends very much on the complexity and / or specifics of the project. Charges may comprise a fixed lump sum, an hourly rate, or a combination of both. An obligation free quotation will be provided on request.
