Accepted Answer

Yes I have full public liability insurance and guarantee my services with a replacement session, if you are unsatisfied with more than 50% of the images I have produced for you. (Please review the service guarantee link on my website for terms and conditions.)

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I wanted to work in an area that tapped into my appetite for visual stimulation and personality, but that also incorporated my in depth understanding of the corporate world and how important their marketing & branding photos are to public perception.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Accepted Answer

I think my favourite story is that of my action sustainability team who needed an urgent press release. Their previous experience with photographers hadn't been great, so they hired me, based on my personality as they needed someone that they felt could help them all relax and even laugh a little during the session.

My job is as much about how I relate to the people I am working with as it is, the way I take the photograph. So it's a good thing that I love working with people.

My customers usually ask when I am available next, before they even ask about cost. This is because my reputation has been built on word of mouth referrals, not paid advertising.

One of my biggest strengths as a photographer, is my ability to capture your personality through my camera lens. So I specialise in making someone feel relaxed & comfortable in front of the camera; which is important for people wanting authentic photographs for either their personal or professional use.

The look they are trying to achieve, the location of the photoshoot, the quantity of photos required, the delivery method, if they want to include editing and the expected delivery time for their photographs.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Look at other images you like on my website or that you have found on the internet & show me these before your shoot.  Also consider the type of business you are in & the outcome you are trying to achieve from the photos sought.  If it's a property marketing photoshoot - then a decluttered interior is preferred.

I would normally charge on a per shoot basis, however am happy to supply hourly rates for clients needing urgent photography for say a press release or event based photography.

20+ years of photographic experience, with formal training at the Australian Centre of Photography and a working history/diploma in interior design - which is extremely useful for my interior and architectural photography work.
