This painter ripped me off and then made personal threats. He quoted the job for $800 which was accepted. He then eventually finished the job and sent the invoice of $2,400 - outrageous, at no point did he mention he would be charging more. I reluctantly paid an extra $500 on top of the original agreed price. He has then made personal threats against me and written many negative one star reiews against my business from made up google accounts. I am currently seeking legal advice against him. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PAINTER !!!!27 Mar 2023
hi Nick. I have done no such thing. anyone who knows me knows your accusations are wild and slanderous. The job was quoted at a day rate of $800+ materials and you accepted that then levied a 2nd days work on me at the closing of day1, levied a 3rd days work on me at the end of day2 and at the end of day 3 you levied 3 more days work on me (4 full bathrooms including shower and toilet) to which I replied with "let's settle the work currently outstanding first" and you ripped off a small family business with 2 employees with young families. I maintain that you knew the rate and this was not a misunderstanding and an example of your character. I guess you have wronged others to receive reviews as you claim. you did nothing but praise me until I stopped working for you and thus this is a malicious untruthful review. let's go to VCAT , I know what the outcome is with my paper trail.Stan
