We work with clients until they are 100% happy with the work we have produced. We would never allow a customer to walk away unsatisfied with anything we have provided.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I've always loved creating from a young age, and have worked in the industry now for roughly 9 years. Being a creative person just comes naturally and I couldn't imagine doing anything different in life.

We've worked with a variety of clients. One in particular was Ruby's Cafe in Waverley. Ed & Emma are lovely. The best part about my job is doing something that I love and working with clients from all walks of life, in various industries. There's nothing better than seeing my clients happy with the work I've done. I get a true reward from helping people bring their ideas to life visually.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Accepted Answer

Always ask a lot of questions when choosing the right designer. You can't put a price on your business but everyone has a budget. Remember that the cheapest quote is not always what's right for your business. Find a designer that's both reasonable in price, but also suitable and relatable to your business. Typical questions a client can ask: - What previous work have you done that is similar to my job? - What do you recommend from a design point of view for my project? - Do you offer rounds of revisions? If so, how many? - How long will this take to create / design? - When can I expect to see a first draft? - How long do I have to review and make changes? Similarly, your chosen designer should ask you a lot of questions. If they don't I would be wary. A designer needs to take your ideas and translate it visually. Give a clear brief to your designer so they know what you envision but so you always are comfortable that they understand the objective.

I'm always transparent with my clients to ensure they are confident that we can do the job and are clear from the start on the brief. Most clients like to know how long the project will take and what the end cost will be.

I'm an honest and reliable person. I've worked hard to get where I am and I see the benefit of building long lasting relationships with my clients. We source freelance designers as well on any specialised projects so you are guaranteed we are finding you the best solution for your business or individual needs.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Depending on the project I have a set of questions for various tasks. A web design is completely different to branding or logo creation (although it is apart of your brand). When the client makes contact I send through these questions for me to get an understanding of their brand and the project at hand.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

The best way for a customer to save money before starting the work is give a clear brief. If you have visual cues, a budget and a brief description of your requirements I can provide a detailed quotation. The worst example of a brief is someone asking for a logo design with zero context behind the job.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I have compared my pricing strategy with a variety of businesses and believe I'm competitive within the market. I will say I am not the cheapest designer on OneFlare but the quality of my work shows that I am value for money. As I mentioned in previous questions, it's not about finding the cheapest designer it's about finding the right designer.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I always provide an estimate to my clients which details the scope of the job. For all jobs I require a 50% upfront payment to secure the design work.

WE SPECIALISE IN INVITES, LOGOS, EVENT BRANDING AND MORE. AT THE MOMENT WE ARE EXPLORING HAND DRAWN MEDIUMS BUT WE ALSO WORK ACROSS PROJECTS SUCH AS FLYERS, BROCHURES, ADVERTISING AND WEDDING INVITATIONS.
