New locks supplied and/or fitted by us come with a 12month warranty.  Already existing locks that have been repaired, rekeyed or fitted by us are backed by a 12month warranty on the replaced parts only and installation.  Instant Locksmiths is fully insured for up to $20 million dollars public liability.

I enjoy learning new things and broadening my knowledge with ongoing training in the ever changing world of locksmithing. I also enjoy being out on the road and interacting with new customers each day and helping them with the problems they may have.

The first thing to ask is if they are qualified and do they hold a current private security equipment installer and adviser licence.   Confirm the warranty the locksmith provides on materials and workmanship before proceeding with any work.  Also make sure the locksmith has up to date public liability insurance.

Being the owner of a family owned business, it is very important I maintain a high level of trustworthiness and professionalism.  I hold a current private security equipment installer & adviser licence issued by Victoria Police, which means I do not have a criminal history.

This licence is most important because it is ensures that the individual locksmith or locksmith business has had the relevant background checks with Victoria Police.

Being a mobile locksmith service and not having the costly overheads of a shop front or factory, we are able to keep our charges to a minimum.

Before we commence any work, we like to quote the job and provide a fixed price. This way there is no surprise additional costs to our customers.  A service call is also charged on all jobs which are performed onsite. However, this is always included in our final quoted price.

We utilise state of the art machinery and have the ability to replace keys for just about every vehicle on the road today. We offer our clients a complete onsite key replacement and lock service for all homes and vehicles.

I have been a qualified locksmith since 2003 and have extensive knowledge in domestic & commercial locksmithing. I am a specialist safe technician and have been responsible for the upkeep of safes being used by many large retailers, government departments, hotels and banking institutions to name a few. In more recent times I have taken on a different role as an advanced automotive locksmith specializing in the service of late model cars, trucks and motorcycles.
