  After being told that the job would be easy and only take two days to complete, it was cancelled the morning of the first day and rescheduled for the next day. My flat doesn’t have electricity connected as yet, so when I walked through,it appeared like a good job so I paid Peter and gave him a good rating. When I was able to look in the light of day it was horrible. Plaster was splattered all over the floor, chunks were hanging off the window sills and when I went over the entire place I found hundreds of defects that were not up to a painting standard. There were chunks of unsanded plaster that I wouldn’t even be able to put the skirting boards on in every internal and external corner. I could easily write a hundred different things down that were sloppy and unprofessional. Peter sent one of his employees back to fix all the faults that I had put sticky dots on, that were obvious faults, which wasted hours of my time and after he spent three hours fixing these, didn’t bother to clean the mess he had made, left his own rubbish behind and still had not fixed all the problems. The owner never followed up to see if everything was good and his employee didn’t even talk to my son about the job who was at home at the time. The owner and his employee came back yet again, made excuses and said he would fix everything. They worked for a little over an hour and The owner said he would be back the next day to sand and finish off. He gave me the time of around 2pm, but never showed up. He finally contacted me at 6.30pm that night with more excuses why he didn’t turn up and said he would be there the next day. I really don’t know why he did contact me at the arranged time? Well guess what, he didn’t show again and contacted me at 5.30pm with yet more excuses and that the following week was going to be really hectic for him so he didn’t have time to finish my place that week, or give me a time and day that he could. I didn’t hear from The owner for another week and by this time I had had enough! I paid Owner on the second day, gave him a good rating. Oh and this all happened over a month period, so it didn’t get finished in two days. I’ve since checked all the work and it’s still not up to a painting standard. I’m the one who’s going to fix it up now.

  Peter and his team were the best tradesman I have met over several renos. The quailty of their work is excellent - parts of my current house were hard to make perfect yet each solution they found was better than i could have hoped for. Peter is a great guy to deal with and is prompt, on time, finishes the work quickly and has very reasonable prices compared to the other quotes I received. Thank you Peter for doing such an excellent job on my tricky house both upstairs and downstairs!
