  The lawyer Ibtassam Zia turned out knowing anything about my claim. The statement of claim, that he took 4 months to write, wasting therebye my precious time, turned out to be trash. It was trashed by the court and by the barrister who both declared it none arguable in court. I lost my case due to this flagrant ignorance and lack of experience in the basic principles of litigation.

  I hired the solicitor from Pennisi Zia Lawyers at the Woolloongabba site, it was about ordering a GP to provide the full name and contact details of a specific senior immigration officer so that I can contact him, the person I am most grateful for in my life. The solicitor agreed with me to issue a subpoena to order the GP to give me the information as my demand was reasonable, and he assured me he could get the information I need from the GP within a month. He quoted a fixed service fee that would be got the job done. As required, I paid the fixed service fee in full in advance. After three weeks, it turned out that he didn't exactly carry out the work and he didn’t bring me the information I want. The partner Ibtassam Zia took over the job and said that some of the previously has already been expended, he asked me to replenish with another, and he also assured me he could get the information from the GP for me, even in just one day. I paid him because I needed their help. After two weeks, didn’t bring me the information I expected and he even didn’t contact me, I don’t know what has he done. After the Support team followed up and contacted him, it turned out that not only took my money, but he made some allegations and denigrated me. I cried and got no help. After I posted the review as the preceding paragraph on 20th Oct, Ibtassam Zia (the partner) phoned me and said that he was told about the GP had retired 5 years ago and he doesn’t know where the GP is (this was not true!), he didn't want to connect with the police or the Medical Board to contact the GP, and he said another person I provided didn’t exist. He said that if I could provide someone that exists, he will work for me for free to be fair to me. And he wanted me to remove the Review. I said to him that all the individuals I provided to him were real, they are still alive and living in local Brisbane. I provided him with two more persons that can ask for the immigration officer's contact details, within one week if he could get the correct information from any one of the individuals for me, I’ll pay him once again and I will update the review for him. A week's time has gone and he still didn't bring me the information I want or even contact me. It is incontrovertible that Ibtassam Zia is actually the kind who said one thing but did another thing entirely, and without letting me know what he did. He is not only incompetent but also unprincipled, I am aware that what he did were totally against my rights. I discontinued retaining him!
