How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Being a celebrant for weddings is an honour; seeing the look on the grooms face as he sees his wife-to-be walking down the aisle for the first time is simply magic. Having children and families involved always brings an element of fun and unpredictability - such fun.

So many wonderful stories to choose from. I have been honoured to be the celebrant for my own son; I have been a Harry Potter celebrant and have added some Vietnamese and Maori introductions to ceremonies to help the families feel more at ease.

Working with couples to design and deliver the ceremony of their dreams is a privilege that I fell honoured to be able to share.  No couple is the same and nor should the ceremony.

There are many wonderfully talented celebrants to choose from, and before deciding on just one, couples should do their research, look at websites of celebrants to get a feel for their personality and if they would be compatible.

What is your Privacy Policy? Your personal information will not be used for any other purpose than to complete the necessary paperwork and certificates for the ceremony. I do not pass on or sell any information collected, or disclose the contents to any other person, use it for any purpose or store or copy the information in any form. What does a Celebrant do? I complete and submit all legal paperwork, assist in creating and compiling your wording, and I conduct / solemnise the ceremony in accordance with the law of Australia. When is payment required and what is your refund policy? A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required at the time of booking confirmation. The balance is required no later than 7 days before the event Do we have to attend any pre-marital courses? No. However, all Celebrants can offer points of contact should you wish.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

As long as it is one calendar month prior to the ceremony, you can book at anytime. Sooner is better than later to secure your date. Please contact me when you have confirmed your date and time

Never choose a celebrant on price alone; choose a celebrant that you feel comfortable with and one that you can engage with.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Obligation free quote. 10% non refundable deposit to secure you exclusive date and to complete legal document called NOIM, with balance of payment at final rehearsal or seven days prior to the ceremony.
