Yes we have a  Public Liability Insurance Policy that covers for damages up to $5 million and we do guarantee our work in accordance with Australian Standards.

Started working in the industry part time while i was at university.  Found that was good with my hands and enjoyed the job so i stuck with it.

Customers frequently ask me for my opinion on finishing, design and layout of tiles. I try not to influence the customer too much with these subjects, as these things are more of personal taste. But I will offer them the pros and cons of each decision based on my experiences in the industry,

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Most jobs will require a site visit. The design of a bathroom or the layout of a floor can vary greatly, also the substrate we lay tiles on vary which calls on different methods of installation. These variations will have a big impact on price.

1. Make sure you have a clear vision of what you want before you start the job. Mistakes in design or changing your mind after work is complete can be very costly. 2. Makes sure all your measurements are correct.  3. Make sure quantities are correct.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Accepted Answer

I guarantee good workmanship using the correct materials for the job.  Quality comes first with every job and will not cut corners to make an extra buck. Tiling is my profession and I am not here to get rich on a few jobs.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I normally charge a fixed rate, unless patching is involved, you never know what you will find when tiles start coming off.

I enjoy taking on projects that have a unique designs where the customer and myself work together to achieve exactly what they are envisioning. l enjoy the challenge of something different.

I have been in the Tiling Industry for 15 yrs, have completed Wall & Floor Tiling (Finishing 1st in the State), and Bathroom Renovations Certificates / Qualifications.  Have a wide variety of experience in all aspects of tiling including Residential, Industrial and Commercial Work.
