Don’t waste your time. I received a message from them asking if they could book my golden retriever in for a 2nd appt-which we made mid feb. I got the normal confirmation message for the appt a few days earlier. A couple of hours before his appt I received a message that their own dog was unwell and required vet care (completely understand this-so I wished their dog well and they reached out to reschedule-so we rescheduled the appt). The second rescheduling was then again confirmed via sms prior to the appt. I then again got a message 3 hours before the appointment advising they had no power (again, I was more than accommodating to reschedule as these things sometimes happen). So we rescheduled for the 3rd time, and again got the confirmation message a few days prior confirming the appointment. The day of the appointment I got a message in the morning this time it was a different excuse-that her back isn’t much better (this was never mentioned prior) and she thinks grooming axel will put her back to step 1 as he is hard to groom (for reference-he is a lovable golden retriever, he’s not excitable-so he wouldn’t be jumping up as he is 12, he has sore hips so he sits down a lot of the time). So the excuse was that she would have to see how her back is and go to a chiro and check back in with me to reschedule for a 4th time. Don’t reach out to customers to ask if you can book their dog in for a groom and then waste their time by constantly using a different excuse because you don’t want to groom them. They need to learn the meaning of customer service and professionalism. I will take my dog elsewhere, none of the previous groomers ever had a problem. In fact, one of the places I took him to previously was a grooming academy, and they asked if he could go there regularly for their students to practice on at a discounted rate as he is such a beautiful dog and will do what he is told as he is trained and will just allow them to do anything they need to do. I will find out where they have moved to and take him back there. Don’t waste your time with this crowd.Evan W
