I'm an experienced, Integrative Naturopath with over 10 years in clinical practice. My special interest areas are Rebalancing the Gut Microbiome (and all the related health issues impacted by gut health: this includes issues with recurrent thrush and UTIs), Gastrointestinal Disorders, Mental health (including PMS and PMDD), Chronic Illness (including autoimmune conditions) and Hormonal Imbalances in women (especially through your 30s, 40s and 50s). I interpret standard pathology for all of my patients (that you’ve had done via your GP), I also offer functional testing and have had extra training in the interpretation of full gut microbiome analyses from companies such as uBiome and Microba. This can help me identify specific gut flora imbalances and advise you on how this may be impacting your overall health and what you specifically need to do to rebalance your own gut flora. I describe myself as an Integrative Naturopath, as I’m very evidence-based (with a little bit of woo, if the situation is right) and I support a lot of complex and chronic issues in my clinic. I'm happy communicate and work with GPs, medical specialists, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and counsellors. My clinic, Naturally Balanced Healthcare, is located in Belgrave Heights and I practice Wednesday-Saturday (including Thursday evening) and also offer online consultations (I have a lot of interstate clients). I’m degree-qualified Naturopath, I’ve held a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) since 2006, and I’m full member of the professional associations NHAA and ATMS. I regularly attend professional seminars as part of my continuing professional development and education. I’m also currently studying towards a post-graduate degree through the University of Tasmania (Bachelor of Medicines Management with Professional Honours in Complementary Medicine).
