NO WARRANTY it's all lies I had treatment for carpet beetles. The proprietor said he would treat them until they were all gone "if" and only if, I had the entire house sprayed $280. I did this and his technician used only 3.9 litres of Seclira poison and took under 40min and then sneakily wrote on my service report (I didn't read it as I paid before he started and signed before he wrote his notation) that if another spray would be needed in 6 weeks it would cost another $280. Miraculously 6 weeks to the date, I found 4 more live beetle larvae in 1 room and some shells in 2 others. I had been promised that the poison was the best on the market and would even kill flies that touched the floor surface, and it lasted 6 months on my floors. I was not then told that I could not clean, wash, broom or vacuum my floors for 6 months. Yet after just 6 weeks, here I was complaining to the man I first spoke with about the poor effectiveness of the poison used and here he was telling me that I had a severe infestation and that Nationwide would NOT honouring their warranty to treat until the infestation was totally gone. After my insisting, he offered me 1 room free as goodwill but said I would pay another $250 for the whole house to be done again. I was panicked, and he wore me down so I had it done again. Funnily, the 2nd technician used 25 litres in just half of my home, (not 3.9 litres in my whole home like the first guy did) and it took 1.5hrs to finish (not 40min) and my carpets were soaked for 10 hrs and had stretched in enormous ridges across the whole house as a result. But the promise of 1 room free, turned into another $280 for just half my home this time - nothing free at all. Nationwide Pest Control boldly states that they "guarantee all work and services provided to all clients. We guarantee that is we are unable to bring all your pests under control in the manner and the time as agreed that we will continue to attend and treat your premises as often as necessary until we fulfil our obligations to you." DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! They will make the rules up to please themselves and write what will serve them on your service report without showing you. Who knows, they may even under-spray your home, so they can come back and do a 2nd treatment like they did with me and then charge you saying it was a severe infestation. I asked for an explanation of their guarantee details and was told "it is whatever the technician says at the end of the day". I then asked for a schedule or table to show me how many insects show what was a minor, medium or severe infestation, and again he was unable to say. So the number of beetles present (or as in my case none were present the first time - just as shown in a photo from me) is up to the good will of the person spraying! What an ignorant and subjective way of identifying the severity of a pest invasion, and certainly not a legal justification of determining who will and won't be entitled to the company's standard guarantee. Not good enough. Find another company!Salim
