  My Website design Journey. I had an old clunky website which because of my tardiness had stopped working. No updates had been done for ever and it was a nightmare for customers to navigate. Once I retired, I placed an add for website design and was absolutely inundated by calls, texts and emails. The sheer plethora of information was overwhelming. I had spoken to about 10 website designers all giving me basically the same info and moving me towards woo commerce, and giving me information that I felt was "what I wanted to hear". I had no idea about hosting, keeping a website secure for customers and thought once it was built I would play with it as I saw fit..... A text came through from Naked Media enquiring about the job and initially I advised the job was gone. The texts continued with loads of information, facts about the very information these other candidates were telling me. Reading the texts I immediately understood that the people with whom I was speaking were telling me what I wanted to hear, and were omitting important information. The calls indicating interest in building the website kept coming thick and fast. All basically the same, all promising that every ridiculous notion I wanted could be achieved. The texts from Naked media also kept coming, dispelling the misinformation I was receiving from the majority of the others. I rang the number and spoke to Lachlan Inglis. THANK GOD I did! He dispelled my misconceptions about how E-Commerce platforms ran. He patiently explained how it worked, discussed SEO, recommended a choice of platforms where it could be hosted. He took the domain name and helped me move it to the new platform. I reluctantly had to rethink what I wanted as it became obvious it was not possible to host a store and keep it operational without the required maintenance. By listening to Naked Media my website got built and I live it. My store has made sales unlike anything I have experienced in the many years previous. Naked Media (Lachlan) answered my questions, instigated zoom calls to teach me how to use my new platform. The ongoing support is over and above expectation. The information is invaluable. For me, stopping, listening to Naked Media with experience and changing my 'wrong thinking' has resulted in a website which surpasses my expectations, gets praise from friends and customers and most importantly works.
